My Story

In late 2018, my wife was diagnosed with incurable pancreatic cancer. She was given six months but succumbed after just four, leaving me, my three children, and four grandsons.

She never lived to see the birth of her first granddaughter, who carries her name.

I began to write, which saved me from a certain spiral into oblivion.

Four years on, I am as happy as I ever have been, enjoying writing about the world around me, appreciating family, friends, and a very special person. I hope you enjoy my work and it inspires you or just entertains a few minutes on the bus or Metro!
